I'm a UX/UI designer based in NYC. I originally worked in digital advertising as an account executive, where I was responsible for marketing unique adtech solutions to media buyers. I'm excited to use my understanding of consumer behavior and product as I transition into the world of digital design.
From a young age, I was drawn to creativity, spending hours drawing with Crayola markers and experimenting with Microsoft Paint. Although my career aspirations shifted consistently, my passion for design remained constant. After high school, financial constraints led me to a business program on a generous scholarship, where I majored in Marketing with a focus on branding. My coursework ignited my interest in consumer behavior and product value from a theoretical perspective. This brought me to a role in advertising media as a salesperson, where I honed my skills in understanding the consumer-product dynamic and addressing client needs.
After two years, I felt a disconnect from my line of work. I craved something more hands-on, where the fruits of my labor felt more tangible. Following an adventurous period of international travels, hiking, and self-reflection, I realized I needed to pursue my original passion for design. I now bring a solid foundation from my business education and advertising experience to approach design challenges thoughtfully and deliver meaningful value to users.
